Wedding | Jesse & Jordan

It had been raining all around the May long weekend as it did normally, so the fact that we had some sunshine on May 18th was amazing!!

Jordan has been a friend of mine for some time now. We were introduced through our husbands a couple years ago, and acquainted through a mutual friend as well. To be able to photograph her wedding was something I really wanted to do for her, and it was such a fun day too!! We had been invited as guests already, but I found that getting to be their photographer let me spend more time with them and their family throughout the day, which made it that much more special to me.

We started the day at Cosmo, where Jordan's sister and Maid of Honour Caitlyn were getting their hair done. I've never had the opportunity before then to photograph in that salon, but I've been going to Jordan to get my hair done for a couple years now, and the atmosphere is always so lively.

From there I went to Sydney's Beauty Bar to catch the last little bit of Jordan's makeup. Sydney is a master at makeup artistry and just knows how to accentuate someone's already gorgeous features.

Jesse & Jordan opted for a first look before the ceremony, which made me so happy because I feel they are much more intimate than the first look down the aisle!!

They chose a little park not far from Jordan's Mom's house, which was great because it was a little more sheltered from the cooler wind that blew through that day. The look on Jesse's face when he saw Jordan was amazing!!

After that, the rest of the day flew by!! We grabbed lunch from A&W, the Ceremony at Trinity Lutheran Church was beautiful, family portraits were cold but so comfortable (their family is great!!), and formal portraits were just stellar. I'd never had so much fun during a wedding, and even though I had a severe case of Wedding Hangover the next day, it was totally worth it!!

Jesse, Jordan, I love you guys!! Thanks for letting me play such a big part in your day!!
